Lauren Chin, LGPC

I have been in the counseling field for over 20 years, working in different cities along the way. I spent a year abroad in Australia, learning how to slow down and enjoy the little things. I am passionate about helping others achieve their dreams and reach their fullest potential. I am a holistic therapist, who believes everyone has the ability to heal themselves given the chance. I have been trained in a wide variety of treatment modalities and will integrate them into counseling whenever I feel it is appropriate. Those modalities include: EMDR, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, Brainspotting, Expressive Therapies, CFTSI, ITR, and TF-CBT to name a few. I believe that in order to heal, a person needs to feel safe in their bodies and understand their experiences don't define them.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Before becoming a therapist, Lauren spent five years working in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) research with military veterans, a journey that strengthened her commitment to supporting those in need of healing and growth.
As a therapist, Lauren strives to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel truly heard and understood. Her approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, fostering empathy and trust, alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to guide clients toward their mental wellness goals. She finds great joy in supporting those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.
When she’s not in the office, Lauren loves to spend time in nature, capturing moments through photography, camping, outdoor rock climbing, and running. These activities keep her grounded and inspired, and she brings that same energy and compassion into her work with clients.

Erica Korto LCPC

As a therapist I strive to see individuals as their unique selves and to support each person in finding and creating new habits to fulfill their needs. I am intentional about fostering an authentic therapeutic experience to best serve you in your journey of personal growth and development. And believe it - you are ready.

You no longer have to suffer through debilitating emotions and thoughts - your new focal point can finally be on what you want from life. I create an uplifting and safe space by validating clients on many topics such as race, ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, as well as family and societal factors. I cater to one's need to form and ground their identity and establish positive concepts of self by discussing forms of oppression and empowerment through looking at the connection between your identifiers.

My experiences have been curated from working with teens and adults that wanted to adapt their current approaches to behaviors of anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, trauma, boundary setting, relationship concerns, life transitions, and affirming those a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. With a foundation in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based, and Trauma-Informed care, together, we can move forward through any challenge you may have.

Daniel Knach,
Director of Operations

Serving as Director of Operations for My Crossing Paths Counseling Center, my role began as an initiative to expand the practice, implement IT policies for HIPAA compliance, and optimize financial stability by incorporating data-driven strategies. With extensive experience in IT management, project execution, and business transformation, I have been fortunate to lead teams and initiatives across higher education, healthcare, and corporate environments.
As Chief Technology Officer and Director of Infrastructure at Stevenson University, I led digital transformation projects for remote work and education, cloud migrations, and cost reduction strategies.
However, my role at MCPCC has evolved into an effort to remove obstacles to services for our community, and ensure our clinicians are client focused, not claims accountable.  This has become more than a position motivated by achieving strategic initiatives.  It’s a place where differences are made every day in the lives of the people we support, not quantified in a spreadsheet.

Hannah Jones LCPC

As a person-centered therapist, I am dedicated to providing an empathetic, reflective, and compassionate approach to therapy. My aim is to build strong therapeutic relationships with each client, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages growth, comfort, and safety. In this supportive environment, clients can share their stories at their own pace, without fear of judgment and can communicate their needs in a way that promotes understanding and validation. I am a certified ADHD clinical services provider, and I am dedicated to supporting adults who struggle with ADHD and executive function disorders. In this space, clients are encouraged to explore their unique challenges related to ADHD such as difficulties with sustained attention, time management, task initiation, and emotional regulation. I utilize a comprehensive range of therapeutic techniques tailored to enhance cognitive and emotional skills impacted by ADHD and executive function challenges. This includes strategies for improving organization, problem-solving, and stress management, which are critical for daily functioning and personal success. My goal is to help clients understand their ADHD, leverage their strengths, and develop coping mechanisms that promote independence and self-confidence. I also work with an array of other mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder, relationship challenges, and many more. Together, we can work towards positive change and healing, no matter the challenges or background you  bring to the table. Our therapy sessions are designed to provide actionable insights and practical tools that support clients in leading more fulfilled and balanced lives.
